The below picture is from a veteran metal detector on a forum I read. He hunts during his free time with his wife and mainly on the beaches of Connecticut at depths of knee to chest high water. He started his water hunting two years ago and to quote him, "Pictured here are 84 gold rings and 1 platinum ring.. I have 3 golds so far this year (2008) bringing my total to 97 I have found since starting water hunting.."
At today's gold prices of over $700.00 per ounce, imagine what all that booty is worth? Makes you want to quit your day job!
